Ans.-  A snake crawled over his legs, and he felt no fear.

Ans.-  He called them by imitating their cries, and they ate peanuts, rice, and mangoes from his hands.

Ans.-  He believed that humans have no right to trouble snakes as they are in their home and do not trouble humans.

 C2. Discuss with your friends and answer the following questions in four to six sentences each:

1. Describe Ramana Maharshi’s love for animals.
Ans.-   Ramana Maharshi had a deep love for animals and treated them with great care and respect. He spoke to them as he would speak to humans, named them affectionately, and ensured they were well-fed before he ate himself. He had a particular bond with his cow, Lakshmi, and even peacocks that he would call and feed by hand.His kindness extended to all creatures, including snakes, which he never allowed anyone to harm.

2. What did Ramana Maharshi say about the killing of snakes?
Ans.-  Ramana Maharshi believed that humans have no right to kill snakes as we are in their home and they do not trouble us. He emphasized the importance of coexisting peacefully with all creatures and respecting their right to live without fear or harm from humans.
